Purchasing and shipping
I want you to be happy with your painting or product purchase. If you have any questions do contact me before placing an order at art@cherriemansfield.com.

Online appearance

I have taken care to describe and show my artwork and products as accurately as possible in terms of size, colour and texture. The image you see on screen may show slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork or product is not deemed a fault. Slight inconsistencies are not a valid reason for return.

Ordering

How do I place an order?
You can order my smaller paintings and products featuring my artwork through my website shop.

I also sell my work direct at Worcestershire Open Studios each August and at art fairs, exhibitions and events throughout the year. Some of my paintings are available to purchase from The Gallery, Pershore.

If you are interested in buying a larger painting or a product not listed in my shop please contact me to discuss details and shipping requirements.

How is my payment handled?
Payments through this website are taken through PayPal or Stripe in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account, you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Paying by bank transfer
At the checkout there is an option to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer. This saves me credit card fees. If you select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork will be marked as sold and unavailable to others.

Purchasing with a deposit
If you would like to buy an original painting over £500 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows, this can be a helpful option. A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable to hold your painting. The balance can be paid the following month or in two monthly payments of 25% each. Once you complete the payments, I will ship your artwork. Get in touch if you are interested in arranging this.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and returns policy applies.

Shipping

How soon will I receive my order?
Orders will usually be packed and shipped within seven working days. Wherever possible I reuse packaging materials.
Within the UK orders are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. You will receive an e-mail informing you that your order has been dispatched with any tracking details.
Most UK deliveries arrive within a few days from the time of shipping. Please allow seven working days in total.
If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Can I collect my order?
Yes, you are welcome to collect your order from my studio in Worcester. You should be offered this an option when you checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can arrange a collection time.
Is shipping included?
Unless otherwise stated, UK shipping is included in the cost of items in my shop. For any items where it isn’t included, an estimated shipping cost is added at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
Can you ship outside the UK?
If you are outside of the UK please contact me with your location and details of the item/s you are interested in purchasing and I will send you shipping options..
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
What about larger / higher value artworks?
For larger work / higher value purchases it’s important for both of us to make sure the work is transported appropriately and safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements.
If you are interested in larger or higher value works please contact me with your location and details of the piece/s you are interested in purchasing. I will email you to discuss specialist shipping options.

Returns and refunds

What if I don’t like my painting when it arrives?
Buying art is personal and I want you to be fully happy with your purchase. As reassurance, I offer a 14 day return policy for work sold within the UK.
If an original painting is not what you expected, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund, as long as the work is unaltered and as you found it on delivery .
Once we’ve agreed a return, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you by. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days. The refund excludes shipping costs and payment fees.
What if my order arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a painting or product that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within seven days of receipt with a description and photographs of the damage.
What about overseas returns?
I am currently unable to offer a refund or return on any artwork or products sent outside of the UK.
If having read all of this you have any other questions please contact me before placing your order.
