The joy of colour
Cherrie has collaborated with fine art photographer, Richard Nicholls, on this exciting public realm project in the heart of Worcester. The pair were commissioned to create bespoke designs for vacant shop windows in one of the city's most striking buildings, the former Hop Market Hotel on Foregate Street.
Thrown paintings
You'll find yourself mesmerised by the fusions of colour and enticing formations in these attention-grabbing original artworks. Created in a style somewhat akin to that of the American abstract expressionist Jackson Pollock, these works of art really need to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Alongside some of the pieces of work in this gallery, there are close-up images conveying the colour, texture and depth of these stunning works or aft.
Each piece is created with thick layers and lashings of thrown acrylic paint on canvas or board and is signed by the artist in the bottom corner.
The artwork is presented in a white or black cube frame ready to hang. The artwork is framed without glass so you can really appreciate the undulating textures and intricate details of the piece.
